polyacrylamide
Polymer flocculant
Polyacrylamide is a water-soluble macromolecular polymer, classified into anionic, cationic, non-ionic, and amphoteric types based on ionic characteristics. It appears as a white powder or granules, with a molecular weight of 4 to 20 million and an ionic degree of 10% 80%. As an efficient flocculant, thickener, and coagulant aid, it is widely used in municipal sewage, industrial wastewater, sludge dewatering papermaking, mineral processing, and petroleum extraction. Through charge neutralization and adsorption bridging, its molecular chains cause fine particles to aggregate into large flocs, significantly sedimentation and dewatering. Before use, it should be diluted to a 0.1%-0.3% solution and stirred slowly to avoid high-shear degradation it works better when used in combination with PAC and PFS. Standard packaging is 25kg/bag, and it should be stored in a sealed, moisture- environment.
